Drug use and other addictions increase in Cuba during pandemic
The head of the Department of Addiction Research at the Medical Sciences University of Havana, Justo Reinaldo Fabelo, explained that the drugs most used in Cuba are tobacco and alcohol, “but during the last decade the abuse of illegal substances has increased, and prescription drugs such as marijuana, cocaine, synthetic marijuana, as well as drugs such as tramadol, morphine and carbamazepine.”
